After waking up to a soaked sleeping bag, I was reminded of how(Once again!) it is going to be once we get back on the road. If I haven’t stated yet, or because I completely forgot to mention, since the house has been “left for dead” the bills haven’t been paid and the electricity was shut off just yesterday. If you are wondering how it is that I am typing to you right now, Dear Reader, may the photo above partially explain.
When we were trying to figure out what are next immediate move, we decided that it would be a good idea for us to maybe have some clean socks. And since we don’t have electricity, the washing machine obviously doesn’t work. Being rained on and having the power turned off unexpectedly, we didn’t really think about washing the little bit of clothes that we have have chosen for the upcoming adventure.
We talked about it and I believe that we all decided that by this Friday, we would be leaving up to Washington(state) some how and some way.
We also decided that we should ask the neighbours if we could use their washing machine. Upon arriving, it seemed as if we were just in time to help. “Work Trade” was exchanged in order for us to do some laundry. Which is no problem, because I love coming over here and helping. It’s exactly how I am writing to you now Dear Reader.
The photo above is what we helped to harvest for the neighbours that we have grown to admire and respect. They have really been an inspiration in my life and it has been great to watch their beautiful farm prosper. It makes me think that maybe one day I could have something like that. Or at least be apart of. Thank you Dear Reader for your time once more.
