Something Obscure and Whisping Away

A cosmic phantom
wrapped in star-dust
poured into a chalice of light
Spiralling further off into the distance
Something into nothing-more

Paralleled in symmetry
Versions of a mystery
Obscured in history
Reaching further still
to unknown boundaries

Lost in the om of “home”
Haunted by the concrete and the drones
holographic skies
broadcasting messages and lies

And it’s back there on the road
that other “home”
Where the man is measured by the food he’s collected
from the trash that the people around us have wasted
