Separation anxiety…

In the last photo that I posted, there was a pepper plant with two sprouts in it. They are very close together and I’m afraid that if I try and pull them apart (very gently of course) they won’t be able to survive. I’m reading about it online and it is 50/50 about what to do. Half of the people online say that they snip the weaker looking ones(the smaller ones). The other half say that they separated them with no problem(except for a few). Please, Dear Reader, look at the photo and tell me what you think. Personally, now that I’m looking at them, they look very healthy but are too close together… so will it make removing/separating them difficult?
